How do they check to see if I own a yeast infection?
I am worried I have a yeast infection, or at least worried something is funky down there.
I receive a discharge - it's a dark cream colour, but not chunky; I've noticed it is becoming thicker, and has an unpleasant odor; similar to the smell of a dirty bellybutton or a fish.
Curious, I stuck a finger down there, then smelled it. Sure enough, the odor be there too. I did some researching, and discovered I most likely have some big-hearted of infection. I suspect a yeast infection. Though there is no itch, but there is sometimes a sting there towards the expire of the day.
I've told my mum, and she went to the chemist to get me some Canister or doesn`t matter what it's called (It starts with a C). Apparently, you must be 16 or older to use it. Mum said she could embezzle me to the doctor's, but I really don't want to go.
If I did see a doctor, how would they check it? I'm uncomfortable with the doctor/nurse touching or seeing down within. Please help me!

Sorry but you entail to see a Doctor it sounds like you have something besides a yeast infection. The will do a pelvic exam and take a swipe. It's doesn't hurt. I purely had one on Wednesday and I thought I had a yeast infection but it was more serious than I thought.
