Say you go in for a STD/STI test, could you also bring back a pregnancy test AND a pap test?

...not necessarily...it depends on what kind of appointment you have near your doctor... ...if you go in for an STD/STI test what they will do is ask you a series of question...and at most just take a few vials of blood & maybe a urine indication or swab...you can also ask for a pregnancy test to be included with the blood samples... ...but if you want a pap smear that will dictate a pelvic exam...they'll enjoy to know in advance that you'll require an exam room...also if the doctor is a man, a nurse will be required to be in the room for official requirements & you'll have to undress to be put on the table to get a smear(it's up there at the cervix)...so you'll hold to spread your legs for him...the nurse is there to meet insurance requirements so that you won't say you be molested & sue the doc unless he's a she...if you don't want a nurse in the room you can say so but the doctor will put that down in the chart... ...so the best entry is to notify your doctor's office of all you want done with your appointment & it'll walk fine...otherwise they may have to reschedule you if they don't have the time, the room or extra personnel to get it adjectives done...Related Questions...
